IPMG today announced that Craig Dunsford has been appointed to the newly created position of “Chief Executive Officer, Print” effective immediately.
Kevin Slaven, who will be formally taking over as Chief Executive Officer of IPMG from Stephen Anstice as from 1 July, said “I am truly excited to announce the appointment of Craig to this position. Craig is currently the General Manager at Offset Alpine and has been employed within the Group for over 17 years. He has a lifetime of experience within the printing industry having worked in it for over 33 years and is highly respected by customers, suppliers and workmates alike. Craig will add significant value to the strategic direction of IPMG’s printing operations as we continue to pursue profitable growth opportunities while working within an industry that is going through structural changes to address overcapacity”
Following this restructure, Michael Kinninmont (Managing Director Offset Alpine and Inprint) and Tony Dedda (Managing Director Hannanprint) will report directly to Craig, as will the National Sales roles of Bruce Stewart and Garth Hackett.
Craig Dunsford said “I’m delighted to accept the role of Chief Executive Officer, Print with IPMG and to continue playing a key role within this great organisation. Our industry is certainly throwing up many challenges, but all IPMG printing businesses are in good shape and are strategically well positioned thanks to the experienced management and talented teams at each of our printing plants. Together with the divisional Managing Director’s, Michael Kinninmont and Tony Dedda, my focus will be on delivering further improvements to the benefit of all stakeholders including our long list of great customers and our wonderful staff. We intend to continue to invest in technology and training and to broaden our offering to the market. I have an enviable platform from which to build the next stage of our development as we remain committed to this great industry”.
